Now you will see a larger silver box it is clipped in a plastic enclosure. Pop it out and help guide the wires out so you have more access. then unplug the two white plugs in slots j1 and j2. My on star had j3 populated so I left it and everything else plugged in and popped it back in. I used Velcro to attach the bluestar box to the top of the onstar box. Then I plugged the two white connecters in to the bluestar box and installed it on top of the onstar box.

Now it is time to reinstall things back the way they were and enjoy your new bluestar bluetooth phone system.

optional- I ran a usb cable from the bluestar box to my glovebox. This way it will be easier to update the bluestar unit.

I cant open the pictures. Can you tell me what I need to do?

Can anyone tell me how to open the pictures. I'm getting ready to install on an 07 Escalade and seeing the pictures before I start would certainly help. Thanks.

good afternoon,
i have installed the bluestar module as shown and it was simple and straight forward. and know my bluetooth is working just fine. but unfortunately, after that my navigation system has lost it's GPS connection.
anyone can tell what went wrong.
