New Body style is GMLAN,
Classic is CLASS2.

2005 Z71 tahoe with Bose, Onstar, and XM. Is it class 2 or GMLAN?

Pretty sure it is a class 2. Ether way Bluestar should work on both.

GMLAN was first introduced to cars in 2005. Trucks switched over mostly in 2007/2008 (with the introduction of the NEW BODY STYLE's)
Some vehicles (that were slated for termination, ie trailblazer / envoy) remained class2.

The only anomaly to this is the Corvette. To this day, still CLASS2 based.
