Is it possible to add the Wideband Speech profile in the future?

16khz audio for speech sounds better - it'd be really cool if this were possible.

Hmm, I have not heard of this, but I agree it does sound interesting. I will look more into this.
We have had requests for bluetooth 4.0 but this requires new hardware. A new profile might be doable in the bluetooth dsp.
