Corvette 2008 and Bluestar

Postby Skipper-NL » January 17th, 2013, 10:28 am

I am looking for a BT integration for my iPhone 4s in the Corvette 2008 convertible to be purchased shortly this year. The car will have factory navigation and XM radio.
Will Bluestar 2010 work in this setup and will I have a caller ID?
For streaming audio I plan on a PAL version2 produced by Kawal. This unit will use the XM radio. Can I expect any interference between these two units?
Cheers Roland

Bluestar 2010 should work just fine for Bluetooth. Corvette has a class 2 factory radio. I think it will have caller ID not fully sure I don't have a class 2 radio.

So in fact you need a holder to put up your phone to activate voice dialing and to see who is calling. Or is voice dialing on an iPhone activated by the one of the mirror buttons?

Most voice dial systems (ie siri) will usually re-iterate your command to confirm what you said before dialing.
