PNP vs 2010 and Bold 9700

PNP vs 2010 and Bold 9700

Postby delta » April 26th, 2011, 7:38 pm

I purchased the Bluestar PnP unit for a Pontiac G6 a couple of years ago and while I'm very happy with the product, ever since I changed my Blackberry to the Bold 9700 I am unable to use the On-Star button to answer incoming calls. Instead I have to answer manually on the Blackberry.

As there are no upgrades to the PnP version, I want to be sure that if I purchase the 2010 version it will resolve the problem?

Before I purchase, I wanted to see if anyone else had this problem?

The BlueSTAR PNP was based on the motorola HF850 module which is now obsolete.
The 2010 model uses a newer bluetooth module that will work with all newer phones, including smart phones.
You should be fine.
